Petition for Rules to List Great Basin Redband Trout as Threatened or Endangered

9/11/97 - Oregon Natural Desert Association, Oregon Trout, Native Fish Society, Oregon Chapter of Trout Unlimited formally request U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to list the indigenous redband trout (O. mykiss) of the Great Basin, in particular the Catlow, Fort Rock (Silver Lake), Harney (Malheur Lake), Goose Lake, Warner Valley, and Chewaucan (Lake Abert/Summer Lake) Basins as threatened or endangered pursuant to the Endangered Species Act, and to designate critical habitat for it.
