ONDA monitors the Forest Service's ESA Section 7 consultations with NOAA Fisheries and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, concerning Forest Service grazing authorizations throughout the John Day and upper Malheur river basins. We use the information obtained from these requests to track agency compliance with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act, the PACFISH and INFISH aquatic conservation strategies, and other provisions of law.
