The Hart Mountain and Sheldon National Wildlife Refuges, and the vast sagebrush sea that lies between them, form a relatively intact ecological corridor key to pronghorn antelope and other sagebrush dependent species.

June 30, '08 - ONDA submits preliminary comments on FWS's upcoming comprehensive conservation plan for the Sheldon NWR.

Oct. 9, '07 - ONDA submits comments on Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge's Revised EA to round up horses to protect springs and native wildlife that are being harmed by the horses.

 Aug. 30, '06 - ONDA submits scoping comments on Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge's plan to round up horses to protect springs and native wildlife that are being harmed by the horses.

Jan. 25, '06 - ONDA submits wilderness inventory information to Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge, asking U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to evaluate citizen wilderness proposal for inventory areas found within refuge boundaries.
